Working with groups of people to change the world in live settings builds relationships and makes impact! Environmental and sustainability knowledge and experience are more relevant now than ever, especially regarding our local sense-of-place and understanding of bioregions, watersheds and communities through presentations, facilitated activities and coursework.

I have presented unique material and delivered set curricula locally to internationally to a variety of groups in many settings:

• Kumeyaay Foodways Panel with Slow Food URBAN San Diego
  • ​The fifth annual Good Food Community Faire, themed "Back To The Land", again brought together San Diego-region people and organizations desiring a Good, Clean & Fair food system. Emphases included consequences of biodiversity and habitat loss due to industrialized agricultural practices, how regenerative agriculture can guide the restoration of our food system and environment, and the importance of traditional ecological knowledge of Indigenous peoples, foremost the Kumeyaay . I served as panel coordinator and facilitator, including tribal community outreach.
