Through presentations, facilitated activities and coursework, your group can learn how they can make a difference locally and globally. Environmental and sustainability knowledge and experience are more relevant now than ever, especially regarding our local sense-of-place and understanding of our own bioregion. Quantitative activities are also available, empowering expression of viewpoints through participatory discussions and simple but powerful exercises. - The Rotary World Peace Conference gives Rotarians and non-Rotarians from all sectors of society, an opportunity to come together, learn from experts, become inspired and leave with immediate action plans to implement within our communities. - Kumeyaay Foodways Panel with Slow Food URBAN San Diego, 2018
- The fifth annual Good Food Community Faire, themed "Back To The Land", again brought together San Diego-region people and organizations desiring a Good, Clean & Fair food system. Emphasis of the 2018 event was on consequences of biodiversity and habitat loss due to industrialized agricultural practices and discuss how regenerative agriculture can guide the restoration of our food system and environment. My role was the coordination of a Kumeyaay foodways panel of tribal members and allies, platforming their stories and insights for a wider audience.
