Sharing stories through visual media

Are you seeking compelling storytelling to share with your constituency? High quality visual media, including photography and videography, provide inspiring and educational communications for organizations of all kinds.

Let's work together to document your environmental or sustainability-themed event, program or campaign.  I can be help craft the sharing of your story myself or, even better, work with the authentic storytellers that matter most to you!

Local to Southern California and destination inquiries welcome.

Video storytelling is critical in today's digital communications environment. The use of video for an educational and promotional tool is a critical part of any fundraising or marketing campaign!

My video work and narrative research has spanned everything from raw footage provision to final productions with added graphics and soundtrack.

The Center for World Music is a nonprofit organization fostering intercultural awareness and understanding through in-depth encounters with the world’s performing arts traditions. I cherished photographing Al-Salam Ensemble at Mingei International Museum at Maqāmāt: Pathways to Beauty in Arab Music, part of the "World Music @ Mingei" concert series!

Getting readers excited about wildlife and ecotourism through my photography, blogging and article writing! Whether in far-off locations or right in our own backyards, public interest in nature, wildlife, sustainable tourism and conservation is growing rapidly. While with the international ecotourism company Global Basecamps, I wrote numerous articles, blog posts, and an extensive packing guide for international travel.

Southwest Florida-area nonprofit Cultivate Abundance does excellent work amongst the farmworker community of Immokalee as they support food security and community wellbeing. This video has helped them explain their life-changing programs to their constituencies.

Working with the indigenous grassroots organization Tipey Joa Native Warriors while using footage and photos I'd collected over years of visits to Kumeyaay reservations in Mexico, I've collaboratively produced videos that help meet fundraising goals and support underserved households and communities.

Videography, interviews and co-production of a video series for retreat promotion. "Space Bangkok helps those addressing the most challenging problems do their best work through resilience building, process facilitation, peacebuilding, and training."

Helping San Diego-area residents get excited about nearby nature during the pandemic! The iNaturalist app is a great way for both naturalist experts and beginner nature lovers to contribute to science. A big thanks to US Fish and Wildlife Service and all  supporters who helped make this video possible via the Earth Discovery Institute!

"Much thanks to you and all of your amazing photography and videography!"
